This beautiful venue provides comfortable accommodation in a converted watermill, situated in leafy woodlands next to a peaceful river and lake. There will be daily teaching sessions with Michal, meditations with the group, stretching exercise, daily walks, creative activities, as well as plenty of time to relax. All meals are included, with an emphasis on delicious healthy dishes made with plenty of good protein and low sugar. The Art of Living Mindfully Yoga Retreat

Immerse yourself in the life-enriching teachings of yoga to guide you to a more peaceful way of practising yoga, on the mat and in life.

Surrounded by nature and in the supportive company of experienced teachers Sarah McFadden and Florentina Lam-Clark. They will be combining their skills to teach 8 yoga/meditation classes. This includes the physical asana of yoga, pranayama (breath-work) restorative yoga and mindfulness meditation. Massage is available, as well as other activities aligned with the retreat theme. The retreat will culminate in a closing circle with ceremonial Cacao to honour our experience and time together.

Summer Yoga Retreat with Vera Dubrovina-Thompson

Use this rare opportunity to escape the demands of daily lives to rejuvenate your body with dynamic yoga practices, rest your mind through immersion into meditation and mindfulness, restore and heal through yoga nidra (yogic sleep) and find stillness and tranquillity within to allow you to be present in every moment.

The weekend will focus on learning and practicing the tools that help to deal with stress and anxiety and development of resilience.  Retreat is open to all levels of practitioners. There will be over fourteen hours of tuition during the three days including daily dynamic sessions, meditation/mindfulness practices and deep relaxation (yoga nidra).

Vera has been practicing yoga since 1992 and teaching from 2004. She holds teaching diplomas from British Wheel of Yoga, Birthlight and Yoga Therapy. Her creative approach is drawing on many traditions but heavily influenced and inspired by the teachings arising from Sri Krishnamacharya’s lineage such as Viniyoga, Iyengar and Ashtanga. Her lessons are guided by her studies with Sylviane Gianina, Burgs and Shiva Rea, structured around meditative flow based practice and tuned to the individual needs.
