May 10th - 15th 2023

In the Event of an Emergency... Do Not Break the Human

How do you currently cope when the sh*t hits the fan? Is it possible to prepare yourself in advance for some of the many life struggles and challenges that we may all face? How do you survive when you are in the middle of it? How do you make sure you don’t lose your sense of self in the process? What about the aftermath? How can you support someone else going through it?

During this 6-day (5-night) retreat, Kanina Wolff and Sue Allen will explore all of the above with the intention of arming you with a variety of different tools and insights to assist you in becoming more resilient and resourceful when either you, a client or a loved one are facing adversity. We will look at how you can upgrade your existing coping mechanisms and strategies, how to deal with change, what it is to properly hold the space for yourself and others, what self-care really is, the importance of living a value-centred life, how to soothe a frazzled nervous system and also centre yourself regularly.

The goal is that you’ll come away with valuable skills to help you – or those you are supporting in either a professional or personal capacity - cope when things go awry, with the added benefit of attaining greater confidence to surf the waves of the regular stresses and strains of daily life.

This retreat is ideal for counsellors, healers, practitioners, therapists and anyone on a personal self-development journey who might be in the thick of it right now or supporting others in their time of need.

May 24th - 28th 2023

Create Space XXV Retreat

  • 16:00 on Wednesday 24th May 2023 to 14:30 on Sunday 28th May 2023;
  • This four day retreat will include Yoga classe(s) each day, early morning & evening meditation & satsang, a Chi Kung/Tai Chi workshop, an Argentine Tango workshop, a walking meditation, 2 guided walks, a Yoga philosophy workshop and a guided tour of the Mill.  The cost also includes accommodation, meals (vegetarian prepared by our own chef Jean-Claude Rawady), tea and coffee.  Individually priced holistic treatments will be available.

Ashtanga Eco-Retreat with Joey and Rachel Miles

Come and spend a magnificent week with us delving into practice, connecting with old friends and making new ones!

Schedule

On the evening of our arrival day, there will be a welcome session. The retreat schedule will include daily guided sitting meditation, daily morning Mysore-style Ashtanga practice and afternoon workshops on four afternoons – these will involve elements of alignment-based postural practice, restorative yoga, pranayama, meditation and contemplation. There will be free time in the middle of the day to relax, plus one day when you are free after morning practice and breakfast.

Women's Wellness Rest & Relaxation Retreat Weekend

During this weekend, we'll gather together for a variety of relaxing sessions from gentle Yoga, Meditation, Pranayama (breathing techniques), sound baths, Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep), fire pit gatherings, outdoor yoga, wild swimming, mindful walks and more.

We'll also be offering a variety of self-care treatments with therapists joining us to provide massages to facials, Aromatherapy healing to Reiki and Crystal Healing sound spa treatments and more. You can choose to do as little or as much as you would like.

Opening to Life: The Unfolding of The Self

This course is a training in opening to life through awareness and the concurrent unfolding of the Self.  Emphasis is on learning from experience rather than prepared information and no belief system is espoused.

WE ARE Yoga Retreat


WE ARE is a yoga retreat with a difference. Morven and Gina offer you a week of yoga, reflection and daily invitations to explore the arts. Exploring creativity can be a healing modality, a fun way to spend the morning, and a way to connect with others and yourself.  


The beauty of this experience is that there is no expectation to produce anything, or create something "pretty". We are gathering together to have fun and to see what happens when we follow our intuition. 



Your host, senior yoga and mindfulness teacher Morven, will guide you through twice-daily yoga and will lead yoga nidras and gong meditations in the evenings. 


Artist, writer and yogini Gina Beach will be holding a space you can visit to play with painting, drawing, words, voice and movement. Each day will offer something different and we invite you to join as your mood takes you. 

In all of our group sessions, the emphasis will be on having fun, being with yourself and soaking up the restful, reflective atmosphere of the retreat in the company of like-minded people.
