The local Town is called Aumale and is 2 miles from the Mill Retreat Centre 

It has a very old and pretty church built in the Gothic and Renaissance period an all market square and local shops.

Château de Rambures - a beautiful 15th Century castle/chateau and garden. 12 miles; 20 mins drive from the Mill.

Gerberoy village - voted the prettiest village in France. 40 mins drive.

Amiens hortillonages (floating gardens) -

300 hectares of marshland made up of pretty little floating gardens; best explored by the guided boat tours. Approximately a 50 minute drive from the Mill.

Amiens Cathedral (Cathedral of Notre-Dame of Amiens) - The largest medieval cathedral in the world, Unesco world heritage site, and thought to be the most beautiful and ornate in France.  It truly is a gem of Gothic art!  Approximately 50 Minutes drive from the Mill.
